Last season Dennis Pitta was a huge part of this Baltimore Ravens offense and Super Bowl run.

During the 2012 season, Pitta recorded 61 receptions for 699 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He helped the Ravens pick up 29 first downs.

Pitta was activated just last week and has begun practicing but has no official date on when he’ll return to live action.

Back in July, Pitta suffered a dislocated and fractured him during training camp. It was a major surgery that could have cost him the entire 2013 season but it was revealed that there was no ligament or carilage damage.

Now according ESPN.com, head coach John Harbaugh said he’s hopeful that Dennis Pitta can participate in Sunday’s showdown against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Ravens are coming off a huge win against the Pittsburgh Steelers that had a bit of controversy involving Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.

Now it’s time for the Ravens to move on and continue their push towards the playoffs. They’re still in the hunt.
