It appears the long nightmare that has been will he or won’t he, in regards to Kobe Bryant is looking like it’s nearing an end.

Bryant, saying he felt good after Tuesday’s practice, will be a full participant in Wednesday’s practice, making it the first time he’s participated in back-to-back practices.

Mike D’Antoni said @kobebryant seems to have responded well to practice yesterday and will practice in full again today.

It’s been speculated by reporters close to the Lakers and Bryant for a few weeks now that the Black Mamba could return on Friday against the Sacramento Kings. Granted, there’s been no official word from the team or Bryant himself in regards to his return, so that’s merely an educated guess. However, the fact that Bryant feels well enough to practice on back-to-back days is a good sign regarding a return.

The Lakers and Bryant will see how he responds after practice on Wednesday to make a determination on his next step, though a return doesn’t seem very far away.
