Oregon Ducks center Hroniss Grasu called his decision to return to the University of Oregon for his senior season a “no-brainer” on Wednesday, citing the amount of talent the Ducks have coming back as an influential factor.
Per The Oregonian:
I know what kind of team we have coming back next season. I know we are going to have a special team. We have a lot of guys coming back.
I kind of knew all along that an offseason would benefit me a lot. Then I started talking to my family about the pros and cons, and all the pros came out that I should just stay here. It really was a no-brainer for me to stay and get better, finish school and be with my teammates.
Grasu, recently selected as a first-team all-conference member for the second time in his Oregon career, said he didn’t consult much with quarterback Marcus Mariota, who will also return to the Ducks next season.
