The New York Giants currently sit in third place of the NFC East with a record of 5-7.

This team has struggled for a majority of the year before looking like contenders to take the division before the season started. Things are starting to turn around for New York as the Giants have won the last five of their seven games dating back to October 10th’s loss to the Chicago Bears.

Now as we all know, the Giants brought back Brandon Jacobs for his second stint with the team after spending a disappointing year with the San Francisco 49ers. Things haven’t been as great since he’s returned considering his biggest game was against the Chicago Bears, he’s still a piece this team needs healthy.

According to Jordan Raanan on Twitter, Jacobs is not practicing today due to a knee injury.

Peyton Hillis will more than likely back up Andre Brown when the Giants take on the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.

Also listed is tight end Brandon Myers but he was riding the bike while the rest of the squad did their original work out. This could be a rest day for him.

They need some help from the Chicago Bears on Monday Night if they can manage to take down Phillip Rivers and the Bolts.
