It’s been a surprisingly spectacular night for the Jacksonville Jaguars who are beating up on the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football. Now this both says a lot about the Jaguars who could be mailing it in for a high draft pick but aren’t but it also says very little about the Houston Texans who are in danger of being the only team to be swept by the Jaguars this season.

Someone helping that plan along is Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew who despite a quiet season and a quiet game tonight, busted out a tough but lengthy run against a gassed Houston defense.

As CBS reporter Jason LaCanfora pointed out on Twitter shortly after the run by Jones-Drew, the Texans are just going out of their way to get people fired. But for those players trying to earn more money by being a part of the Texans supposedly great defense, plays like this are a bad look and don’t impress anyone.

For Jones-Drew, it’s a highlight on the season which says all you need to know about the Jaguars this year.
