Some Miami Hurricanes fans are having fun at the expense of their in-state rivals, the Florida Gators. The Hurricanes were at one point an undefeated ranked team in the top 10. Then they lost to Florida State, the first of a three game skid. They wound up finishing the season 9-3 and are bowl eligible.

Florida on the other hand was ranked No. 12 early in the season when they lost to the Hurricanes. They started the season 4-1 but went on a seven game losing streak to end the season with a 4-8 record. That has them missing a bowl game.

“We hit rock bottom this year,” Florida guard Max Garcia said, via ESPN. “I feel like the only way we can go is up.”

“We haven’t made an excuse all year and we’re not going to make them now,” Athletic director Jeremy Foley said. “We know what this program is all about. I have total confidence in coach Muschamp and have made that clear. We’ve got to fix some things.”

So some creative Hurricanes fans wanted to help their in-state buddies out and made them some bowl shirts. Basically, they’re blank, white shirts.
