Ryan Braun and the Milwaukee Brewers have been discussing a possible move to right field for Braun starting in 2014 to open up a spot for Khris Davis.
Well that move will in fact happen starting in the Spring. Braun became Milwaukee’s primary left fielder in 2008 and hasn’t played any other position since.
With Aoki’s departure, Ryan Braun is the #Brewers‘ new right fielder. Ron Roenicke will call RB today to talk about it further.

Now that the Brewers traded right fielder Norichika Aoki to the Kansas City Royals for left handed reliever Will Smith, Braun can become the teams primary right fielder without having to worry about who will get how much playing time.
It’s obvious that Braun would get most of the playing time over Aoki, but they would hate to have a bat like Aoki sitting on the bench. So it was the perfect time to deal the second year outfielder.
So this team will have Khris Davis in left, Carlos Gomez in center and Ryan Braun in right. This team should be a lot better next year if Braun can keep himself out of trouble.
