American skier Lindsey Vonn is often spotted at golf tournaments showing off her support for her boyfriend Tiger Woods. However, Woods may not be making the same sideline appearances for Vonn when she competes in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
Woods was recently discussing his plans for Sochi and admitted that he is unsure whether or not he plans to attend. Admittedly, he is still deciding.
“I think that’s just day to day,” Woods said, via NBC Sports. “We just don’t know how her leg’s going to be. We’ll just take it day to day, race to race.”
Vonn will likely compete on Feb. 10, Feb. 12, Feb. 15 and Feb. 18 in Sochi.
In order to watch her compete, Woods would need to miss a few tournaments including the Northern Trust Open at Riviera from Feb. 13-16, which he has never missed before. The Accenture Match Play Championship is also set to kick off on Feb. 19, which would be the day after Vonn finishes competing.
Whether or not Woods makes the trip is yet to be seen, but we hope that he puts his own sport first and hits the golf course.
