The Jacksonville Jaguars were able to get their third-straight win on Thursday night, with a big win over the division rival Houston Texans. During the game, veteran running back Maurice Jones-Drew was showing some signs off life with tough runs and was giving us a look at the old MJD.

Unfortunately, a hamstring injury forced Jones-Drew from the game and he was unable to return. Today, he will undergo an MRI on the injured hamstring to determine the full extent of the injury, according to Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union.

The good news for Jaguars fans, however, is that Jones-Drew was asked about his injured hamstring following the game and he responded to reporters by simply saying, “I’ll be fine.”

Jones-Drew was able to record his first 100-yard rushing game since last September, so hopefully he will be able to suit up next week and continue showing the league that he has plenty left in the tank.
