Rumors are swirling that a highly anticipated welterweight match up between former UFC interim champion Carlos Condit and Matt Brown is in jeopardy due to an injury to Brown. The bout is scheduled to take place on the main card of next week’s UFC on FOX 9 event on Dec. 14.
There have been no reports from either camp or the UFC that the bout was off, but the report first surfaced on Twitter.

Losing Condit vs. Brown would be a devastating blow for UFC on FOX 9, so we will have to keep a close eye on the situation.
Hopefully Brown will be able to compete next weekend, because on paper this bout looks like it could turn out to be one of the most exciting of the year.
