The Notre Dame Fighting Irish finished their 2013 regular season on Saturday with a disappointing loss to rival Stanford. Brian Kelly and his crew finished the season 8-4, which was a far cry from the 2012 season they enjoyed when they finished the year undefeated and made an appearance in the BCS National Championship Game.
Because of that finish this year, where they will be playing their postseason game coming up will too be a far cry from where they were last year in Miami.
According to Jeremy Fowler of CBS, the Fighting Irish football team will be heading off to the Pinstripe Bowl in Yankee Stadium, and they’ve informed everyone of importance that this is confirmed:

Again, a far cry from last season, but this season was about as best as the Irish could have done. They played the entire year without their starting QB, Everett Golson, who was suspended following some academic violations. Plus, they had to replace some pieces on defense.
