With the college football season coming to an end and attention turning towards the 2014 NFL Draft, we are beginning to hear underclassmen coming forward to announce their decisions on whether to return to school or forgo their final years of eligibility to head to the pros.
On Friday afternoon, Tennessee Volunteers offensive tackle Antonio Richardson announced that he would be leaving the Vols program for the NFL.
At 6-foot-6, 327 pounds, Richardson certainly has the physical stature that teams will be looking for.
If you had to project where Richardson would be projected when next year’s draft rolls around, it is safe to say that he would be slated to go in the first-round. There are plenty of teams that are in need of offensive line help and Richardson is one of the best available prospects at his position.
With draft season ahead and the opportunity to work out in front of scouts and show off his skill set, there is a chance that Richardson could be in the top 15 by the time next year’s draft rolls around.
