2013 SEC Championship Game: Auburn finally answers back with Tre Mason TD (GIF)

After attempting and recovering an onside kick in the first quarter, Auburn’s offense went silent on the next two drives which ended up allowing Missouri to take the lead back in the SEC Championship game. But the offense is silent no longer thanks to a nice drive pout together by the Tigers offense which was capped off by a barreling touchdown run by Tre Mason.

This really isn’t the type of game Auburn needed to have if they wanted to be considered a team worthy of jumping Ohio State in the BCS, assuming the Buckeyes win the Big Ten Championship tonight.

But it’s only the first half and as the onside kick showed us, Auburn is swing for the fences in this game. Tre Mason punching in the touchdown the way he did shows the grit involved in this game, but Auburn is having a harder time than some may have anticipated against a stout Missouri team hungry for the upset.
