2013 SEC Championship Game: Henry Josey with long run, Chris Davis injured

Nov 30, 2013; Columbia, MO, USA; Missouri Tigers running back Henry Josey (20) rushes 57-yards for a touchdown against the Texas A

For the Missouri Tigers, a good reason for their constant success this season on offense has been the stellar play of running back Henry Josey.

Josey has been one of the main forces in that unit, and he proved that last week against Texas A&M when his 54-yard touchdown sealed up the SEC East title for he and his team, sending them to Atlanta today for a date with the Auburn Tigers for all the SEC marbles.

He has been every bit as impressive today too so far against Auburn.

Already going over 1,000 yards for the season in this game, Josey has been gashing the Auburn defense, with runs like these:

In another bit of news from this particular play, last week’s hero in the Iron Bowl, Chris Davis, injured his shoulder on the play and went to the sideline.

This game has been everything we thought it would be so far and then some as these two battle back and forth with one another for the right to not only head off to a BCS bowl, but possibly the BCSNCG to play for it all if Ohio State falters tonight.
