So far in the 2013 SEC Championship Game, we are not short on excitement, especially on the offensive side of the ball with the Missouri Tigers and the Auburn Tigers, as we all kind of expected.
In the first quarter, Auburn QB Nick Marshall hit yet another one of his amazing touchdown passes that began with another crazy scrambling act that put his team up 7-3 at the time.
After that, Missouri wanted to grab the lead back, and quickly, which they did right on the next possession, answering rather quickly.
Missouri was faced with a 75 yard drive to get to the end zone , which QB James Franklin and WR Dorial Green-Beckham apparently saw no problem with.
On the seventh play of the drive, Franklin lofted a beautiful pass to the back of the end zone, which Green-Beckham got right up in the air for and came down with, to give their team the lead back in the SEC Title Game:
Now there was some controversy as to whether or not DGB came down with the ball all the way through, which it seemed he didn’t.
