So Friday was Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel’s 21st birthday. It looks like he celebrated in style — seriously, that is a ridiculous amount of confetti — and even got the chance to kick it with Drake for a bit. Hey, that’s not a bad way to celebrate the most important birthday that you’ll never remember. And look, he even got a birthday message from ESPN’s Chris Fowler:

Ah, wasn’t this past summer great? I personally loved opening my paper — print is not dead, folks! — every morning and finding a new sanctimonious editorial taking cheap shots at Johnny Manziel’s perceived character flaws (you know, huge flaws like “being in college and enjoying beer” and “having a hangover”). Man, could we just go back to covering that 24/7? This whole talking-about-things-that-actually-happen-on-the-field stuff has grown kind of boring.

Happy belated birthday, Mr. Manziel. We hope you had a blast.
