It is Bedlam on Championship Saturday as the Oklahoma Sooners travel to Stillwater to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys. There was a lot more than bragging rights on the line in this game, the Cowboys needed a win over the Sooners to clinch a share of the Big 12 Championship and a BCS bowl berth.
Things got off to a fast start for the Cowboys with a long touchdown run seconds into the game. A penalty called it back however. It took the Cowboys till later in the first quarter to finally get in the end zone with a a one-yard touchdown run from Desmond Roland . It capped an impressive 10 play, 99-yard drive.
On the second play of the drive, running back Desmond Roland ran for six yards. He followed that up with a 10 yard reception on the next play. The Cowboys went back to Roland for a third time on the drive and he broke off a 23-yard run.
A couple of runs by Jeremy Smith followed by a couple of passes to Josh Stewart had the Cowboys knocking on the door. Roland than took a six-yard run to the one-yard line. Roland finally punched it in on the following play.
