The Oklahoma State Cowboys is trying to get a tough win over their in-state rivals, the Oklahoma Sooners. A win would give the Cowboys a share of the Big 12 Championship and a trip to a BCS Bowl, but it hasn’t been easy for the Cowboys.
At the half they were tied at ten points a piece. They took a lead again early in the third quarter on their first drive of the half. They marched 82 yards down field in seven plays and about a minute and a half.
The score was a 15-yard pass to running back Desmond Roland who slipped out of the backfield on a wheel route. He was wide open as well.
Roland scored the first touchdown of the game on a one-yard run, making this his second score of the game. Roland already has over 100 yards rushing in the game including a long 51-yard run.
