UCLA Bruins redshirt sophomore quarterback Brett Hundley could be one of the top signal-callers selected in the 2014 NFL Draft if he decides to declare, but it looks like he is being advised to do otherwise.

According to a report from Tony Pauline of TFY Draft Insider, Hundley is being told by those close to him that he should return to UCLA in order to fine tune his skills and get another year of experience under his belt.

Pauline wrote:

Numerous sources tell me Hundley wants to enter the draft but all the feedback he’s receiving has recommended he return for another season.  I’m told those close to Hundley will advise him to stay in school another season and the program is working hard to re-recruit their signal caller.  It comes down to whether Hundley will be happy as a second round pick in 2014 or wants to enter the 2015 draft as a potential top ten selection if things work out.

If Hundley returns to UCLA for another year, it would deliver the latest blow to the 2014 quarterback class, but it could be the wisest move for Hundley and his career in the long-term.

It is rare that we see a redshirt sophomore declaring for the draft, so his return would not be unexpected.
