Following a big win on Saturday over the Memphis Tigers, Connecticut Huskies linebacker Yawin Smallwood announced that he would forgo his final year of eligibility to declare for the 2014 NFL Draft.
Before the announcement became public, Smallwood informed his teammates of his decision.
UCONN announced Smallwood’s decision on their official Twitter account:

If all goes well for Smallwood during private workouts and interviews for NFL teams, he could end up hearing his name called in the second-round of next year’s draft thanks to a relatively weak class of inside linebackers.
With Smallwood’s declaration, here is a look at the underclassmen that have declared:
Chris Boyd, WR, Vanderbilt
Isaiah Crowell, RB, Alabama State
Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina
Victor Hampton, CB, South Carolina
Colt Lyerla, TE, Oregon
Louis Nix III, DE, Notre Dame
Loucheiz Purifoy, CB, Florida
Paul Richardson, WR, Colorado
Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee
Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State
Yawin Smallwood, LB, UCONN
