Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith has been dealing with turf toe that has held him out of action, but he is on track to return to action in Week 15 as he returns from the injured reserve list with designation for return.

Smith was lucky enough to avoid surgery for his turf toe, which would have knocked him out for the season, and now he can return for the final few games to help the Vikings receive a boost on the defensive side of the ball.

Week 15 against the Baltimore Ravens will be the first game that Smith is eligible to return and he will waste no time immediately reinserting himself in to the starting line up.
