There was some shifting amongst the AP College Football poll after another upset filled Saturday. Most notably, the Ohio State Buckeyes lost to the Michigan State Spartans in the Big Ten Championship game.
That allowed the one-loss Auburn Tigers, who defeated the Missouri Tigers in the SEC Championship game, to move into second place. Auburn even got four first place votes. Assuming the BCS Poll follows suit, that would set up a BCS National Championship match up against the Florida State Seminoles.
It looked like the SEC conference was going to be held out of the Championship game and their streak of Championships would come to an end because there were two undefeated teams. Auburn is the only school besides Alabama to win a National Championship in the last four years.
Michigan State moved all the way up to fourth place following their win over Ohio State. Oklahoma also moved up to No. 11 after beating Oklahoma State in their Bedlam game.
