BCS National Championship 2014: Florida State vs. Auburn


Now that all the dust has settled from the 2013 regular season in college football, it’s now time to crown a new national champion, in this the last year of the BCS system.

This year’s BCS National Championship Game will take place on Jan. 6 and will emanate from Pasadena, CA inside the Rose Bowl.

The participant’s in this year’s game to crown the national champion will be the top-ranked, and undefeated, Florida State Seminoles of the ACC and the surprise 12-1 Auburn Tigers of the SEC.

Florida State has run roughshod through their entire schedule, including their latest victory, a 45-7 blowout of the Duke Blue Devils in the ACC Championship Game.

Auburn, who finished the season 3-9 last year, has turned everyone’s heads with the way they were able to take the SEC under the guidance of first-year head coach Gus Malzahn.

Now, they’ll see if they can cap off this incredible season with their second crystal ball trophy in four seasons.
