On Friday night, MMA fans were treated to arguably the greatest Heavyweight fight in the history of the sport. For 5 rounds, Mark Hunt and Antonio Silva threw down in an epic battle that saw both men on the verge of losing multiple times. Both men showed incredible heart to survive the onslaught from one another, even while on wobbly legs.

Battered, bloodied, but not beaten, both men made it to the final bell with rousing applause coming from the fans in Australia. The fight was scored a majority draw, in what seemed to be a fitting end to an incredible fight. Both men deserved the win on Friday night, and neither man was a loser.

Hunt has been updating his Twitter with pictures of his injuries, including x-rays of his badly broken hand. Unfortunately, this injury will likely keep him on the sidelines for a while:

Hunt also posted some short videos on his Instagram thanking Antonio Silva for the fight, and explaining his injuries. His hand looks to be broken on his thumb, and index finger of his left hand. Hopefully, he heals up soon and we see this warrior back in the Octagon.
