New Era Pinstripe Bowl 2013: Rutgers vs. Notre Dame

On Dec. 28 at Noon ET on ESPN, the 2013 edition of the New Era Pinstripe Bowl will take place from Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, NY.

This is still one of the rather new bowl contests of the lineup, enjoying just its fourth year of existence.

Last year’s game featured a match up between the West Virginia Mountaineers and the Syracuse Orange. When it was all said and done, the Orange walked away with the trophy after absolutely running all over Geno Smith and company, which may have actually been a sign of things to come for the Mountaineers.

This year, the game between the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish should be a little more competitive, well, at least we hope.

Who do you think comes away with the win in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments section below.
