Every year, one of the most high profile bowl games takes place in Pasadena, California. The Rose Bowl pits the Big Ten champion against the Pac-12 champion, and this year’s game will feature the Michigan State Spartans and Stanford Cardinal.

It is set to be one of the most physical games of the bowl season and one that everyone should have their eyes on.

Michigan State is coming off of a big win over the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday night, which knocked the Buckeyes from the national title picture. Michigan State boasts one of the toughest defenses in the nation, which will be a tough test for the Cardinal offense.

For Stanford, they easily handled the Arizona State Sun Devils in the Pac-12 title game and they will look to keep the momentum rolling against Michigan State.

The 2013 Rose Bowl is set to take place on January 1, 2014 at 5 p.m. ET at the one and only, well, Rose Bowl.

Who do you think will come away from the Rose Bowl with the win? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts and predictions.
