A while back we saw the NBA pass out warning cards to fans were getting a little “too into” the game. The San Francisco 49ers have issued their own warning cards at games for fans standing at the game.

The cards seem like an effort to make sure that everyone at the game has a good time. Sometimes fans are forced to stand through out a game because fans are yelling, which is part of sports whether you like it or not. The standing can be annoying, but it isn’t as bad as those people who hold signs.

This particular fan who received this card is a Seattle Seahawks fan. Could have been an effort to control the away fans from interfering with the home experience.

The caption read: “I just got yellow carded by the 49ers. Sorry for being a #seahawks fan? #FortyWhiners”
