Brandon Scherff returning to Iowa for senior year

With the college football bowl season set, many of the biggest stars around the nation now have one last opportunity to put on their team’s uniform and march out on to the field for a final appearance before leaving for the NFL draft.

However, there are some highly touted underclassmen that choose to return to school and one of the top offensive tackles in the 2014 NFL Draft class has done just that.

Iowa tackle Brandon Scherff announced on Monday that he will be returning to the Hawkeyes for his senior year. There are plenty of people who believe Scherff would not make it out of the first round of the draft this year, but he could end up becoming a top 5 pick if he puts together a big season next year.

Scherff is a nasty blocker that NFL teams will salivate over, so he just needs to continue doing what he is doing and watch the money come pouring in when his name is called in the 2015 NFL Draft.
