The Los Angeles Clippers are taking on the Philadelphia 76ers on the road on Monday night. They raced out to an early lead and got a big play from forward Blake Griffin, set up by a nice pass from Chris Paul.
The Clippers are going down court when Paul slings in a quick pass to the paint where an awaiting Griffin catches the pass. He is backing down a defender at the time.
When he catches the pass he does this little spin move into the paint and then elevates and throws down a one-handed jam between two defenders. An impressive dunk even though it wasn’t one of the alley-oops we’re accustomed to seeing from this duo.
That dunk gave the Clippers a 18-11 lead with about three and a half minutes left in the first quarter.
