Thanks to a hot start to the season with quarterback Jake Locker, the Tennessee Titans remain in the AFC Wild Card race with very slim chances. Of course, Locker is injury prone and was unable to stay healthy this season, so the team is attempting to do the unthinkable with Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback.

Tennessee has been a respectable opponent for many teams this season, but they really lack the talent necessary at quarterback to take the next step and it looks like they could address that this offseason.

Locker is set for a big offseason bonus, but the Titans are not expected to pick that up which means they will be in the quarterback market.

From Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network:

Last offseason, the Titans aggressively tried to lure top free agent Peyton Manning to Nashville, but they were unsuccessful.

However, this offseason, don’t be surprised to see the team target Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler if he is available in the offseason. Cutley spent his career in Nashville with Vanderbilt, so he could be interested in returning home.
