Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban and his wife have feverishly denied that he would be leaving Alabama for any other head coaching job, but money speaks and reports linking Saban to the Texas Longhorns are gaining more and more steam.
Saban could make a boatload of money with the Longhorns, who are the richest program in the nation, and the reported 10-year, $100 million offer and equity in the Lonhorn Network could be an offer too great to pass up.
From Dean Blevins of OKC-KWTV:
Texas source tells me: “Saban sitting on 10-yr deal worth $100M & 1% of #LonghornNetwork.” Smart way 2 get cooperation w non-stop TV cams

If the report is true, that could be an offer that you could never turn down.
Mack Brown is expected to step down at the end of the week, which will open the door for Saban to Texas, so keep a close eye on the situation as the week goes on.
What seemed like a wild dream for Longhorns fans could soon be a very real possibility and they could have the man they want to turn their program around.
This is getting interesting, folks.
