The Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Bryant Bulldogs 86-48 at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The Buckeyes improved to 9-0, and the Bulldogs fell to 6-5.
Ohio State played great basketball the entire game. The Buckeyes shot 52.6% from the field, and had only eight turnovers. They limited the Bulldogs to shooting 27.6% from the field, and forced 19 turnovers. The one bright spot for Bryant was equalling Ohio State’s rebounding total of 38. Besides the rebounding, it was all Ohio State in a runaway victory.
Ohio State top performers: Guard Lenzelle Smith Jr. scored 19 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dropped three dimes. Center Amir Williams scored 12 points with nine rebounds and six blocks. Forwards LaQuinton Ross and Marc Loving each scored nine points. Guard Shannon Scott had five steals and six points.
Bryant top performers: Guard Dyami Starks scored 16 points with five rebounds and six turnovers. Forward Alex Francis netted nine points with five rebounds. Forward Den Garvin scored seven points and grabbed nine boards along with two blocks.
