Raymond Felton, guard of the New York Knicks, tweaked his hamsting on Tuesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers, and according to ESPN Insider Nick Borges, “Felton could miss some time if it’s up to the training staff.”
“That’s what I’m hearing,” Felton tells the New York Post. “That’s the advice I’m getting. We’ll see. If I can’t go out there and play and perform, it’s not good for me to be out there. But I’m a warrior and I want to be out there with my teammates [to] fight out of this slump we’re in. If I can’t be 100 percent — which I haven’t been, but I’m trying — maybe I just need to sit down.”
The Knicks have been dealing with injuries all season long, and there are no signs of stopping. It’s got to be irritating for a team that was predicted to be Eastern Conference Contenders. They are trying to keep a star in Carmelo Anthony, but if the team keeps losing, his move could be imminent.
