Kobe Bryant looked rusty in his first game back on Sunday, scoring just nine points and having eight turnovers. On Tuesday, he looked a lot like Kobe Bryant again.

Bryant had 20 points on 6 of 11 shooting, and went 8 for 8 from the line. He had only one turnover in 29 minutes as well. Oh yeah, and his first basket of the game was a dunk:

It was good to see Bryant playing like that again, and this team will benefit in the long run. The Suns won this game, but the Lakers are trying to get everyone acclimated with Kobe again, and they are essentially going through another preseason. Kobe was patient on offense, and his efficiency was a good sign.

When the Lakers get healthy, this team could be contending for one of the bottom playoff spots in the West. If Kobe can play even better than this, then he could elevate this team to new heights. We will see how his season unfolds moving forward, but this is a good sign for the Lakers and Bryant.
