The Orlando Magic have been hit hard by injuries for the second consecutive season.

The Magic have lost point guard Jameer Nelson at times, didn’t have big man Glen Davis at the start of the season and have missed last season’s leading scorer, forward Tobias Harris, for almost all of the season.

They’ve also been without perhaps their best player for the last four games in center Nikola Vucevic.

According to John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com, the Magic will get Vucevic back on Wednesday when they take on the Charlotte Bobcats.

Vucevic sprained his ankle when he stepped on a cameraman in a 98-80 loss to the Washington Wizards on  December 2. The Magic have gone 0-4 without Vucevic and have lost six in a row overall.

Vucevic, who was acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers in the four-team deal centered around Dwight Howard before last season, averaged a double-double for the Magic last season. He’s on pace to do that again, putting up  14.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.1 steals per game this season.

The Magic and Bobcats will tip-off at 7:00 pm EST.
