Now that Deron Williams has returned to the Nets’ lineup, they are looking like the team we thought they’d be before the season.
In Thursday night’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, Williams looked to be in mid-season form. He was shown up by Chris Paul with a nasty crossover early in the game, but Williams would get the last laugh.
As you can see from the video above, Williams uses a filthy crossover to get by Chris Paul and score with just two seconds left in the first half. This was the second crossover that Williams unleashed on Paul, and now you can see why he is important to this offense. The Nets are crushing the Clippers on national television, and Deron Williams is making highlights.
We will see if he can keep up this level of play, and if the Nets can turn things around now that they are healthy. After all they did just have one bad month, at least that what Kevin Garnett said.
