Kevin Durant leads Western Conference All-Star voting

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant leads all Western Conference players in the early returns in Western Conference All-Star voting. Durant has received 607, 407 votes votes. Only Miami Heat forward LeBron James, who has  609, 336 votes, has received more.

The NBA has eliminated the center position and instead you can select three frontcourt players and two backcourt players. Joining Durant in the current starting lineup would be Houston Rockets’ big man Dwight Howard, Los Angeles Clippers’ forward Blake Griffin, Los Angeles Lakers’ guard Kobe Bryant and Clippers’ point guard Chris Paul.

Bryant should clearly not be on the list, but that’s what fan voting does.
