Pete Rose says Jay-Z got Cano an extra month of vacation in Seattle

Robinson Cano recently signed a 10-year/$240 million deal to be with Seattle for arguably the rest of his career. He go exactly what he and his agent, Jay-Z wanted, more money.

He got a lot of money in this deal, but then again h’s playing fora team that has quite a difficult time making it anywhere close to the postseason. Which is exactly why people are frustrated with Cano who left the New York Yankees, a perennial powerhouse, for the Mariners, who are always ending their season short.

Pete Rose knows that too well, and wasn’t afraid to say it. From ESPN,

Meanwhile, everyone else continues to chime in. Pete Rose went on ESPN New York 98.7 FM’s “The Michael Kay Show” on Wednesday and took a little shot at Cano.

“He [Jay Z] got him a big raise, but he got him an extra 30-day vacation — and it’s called October,” Rose said.
