It isn’t cheap to sit court side at an NBA game, but you also have to pay close attention to the action or you could have a ball and/or player come flying at your head. During Thursday night’s game between the New York Knicks in Chicago Bulls some fans found that out first hand and a toddler almost became a casualty.

Bulls forward Tony Snell went diving in to the crowd after a loose ball, but there was luckily a father who was paying attention and was able to get his young daughter out of the way of the runaway 6-foot-7, 200-pound Snell.

Here is a GIF of the heroic dad:

Interestingly enough, it turns out that the father who played hero on Thursday night is also the lawyer for the likes of P.Diddy, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, and Whitney Houston, so he is used to coming up big.

He should be nominated for Dad of the Month.
