The people at Anchor Bay Films have given fans their first look at the trailer for the upcoming thriller Freezer.

Imagine you are at your birthday dinner. You’re having fun with your friends, having a few drinks, catching up on old times; all of a sudden, you wake up and you are locked inside a walk-in freezer with no explanation. So is the life of Robert.

Robert, played by Dylan McDermott, is of course living it up at his birthday dinner when at some point he is knocked unconscious. When he wakes up, he is locked inside the restaurant’s walk-in freezer with no explanation.

Suddenly, he realizes that cold truth; this is one incredible case of mistaken identity. Unfortunately, his captors aren’t hearing it. A group of Russian mobsters believe that Robert owes them the upside of $8 million.

Beaten, and breaking more by the minute, he suddenly realizes that he is not locked in there alone. He meets wounded cop  by the name of Sam, played by the Twilight Saga’s Peter Facinelli, who may very well hold the key to the entire ordeal.

The temperature is falling, and Robert and Sam are running out of time before they utterly freeze to death. Will they be able to find their way out, or is there something much more sinister in store for them?

Here is a look at the trailer for the film Freezer thanks to Yahoo! Movies.

Freezer will be released in limited theaters on January 17th. Then, on DVD, Blu-Ray Combo Pack, and VOD on January 21st.
