Dallas Cowboys fans can be some of the most fickle fans in sports. They’re high on their team one week and they suck the next week, of course the Cowboys play like that at times as well.

On the Ben and Skin show on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas, the hosts asked defensive tackle Jason Hatcher what he would say to venting Cowboys fans.

“Probably nothing. I would just look at him like he was stupid like I do all the time,” Hatcher responded, via the Dallas Morning News. “I hear from them all the time. I get tweets from them, but I ignore them.”

Not only does he get negative tweets, he even has some fans try to say something to him when they run into him in public.

“I have times where people know who I am, like we’ll be in the elevator, and they be like, ‘you saw that Cowboys game last night? They suck.’ I just keep looking forward like they don’t exist. They won’t get a response from me.”

Hatcher also said the defensive unit was looking forward to bouncing back.

“We know what’s at stake. We’re just looking forward to bouncing back. It’s on us totally. Defensively, we have to get better. We know that. At the same time, we just have to refocus and lock in and don’t let what happened Monday night get us down.”
