The light heavyweight title fight between UFC champion Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira has once again been pushed back. After initially saying that Jones vs. Teixeira would remain the UFC 171 headliner despite the addition of a welterweight title fight between Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler for the vacant title, but he commented on the change on social media after the conference call ended.
White says that he misspoke on the call and the Jones vs. Teixeira bout will now be moved to UFC 172.
Sorry I misspoke on the conf call. Hendricks vs Lawler will be main event in Dallas and Jones vs Teixeira will headline UFC 172

UFC 172 will take place at an undisclosed location and venue, but the date for the event is expected to take place in late March or early April. The UFC is expected to announce more information on the location of that fight soon.
Jones vs. Teixeira was supposed to take place on Super Bowl weekend in New Jersey, but it was pushed back to UFC 170 in Las Vegas, then Dallas on March 15 and now to an undisclosed location.
With the light heavyweight championship bounced from the UFC 171 card in Dallas, the Hendricks vs. Lawler welterweight title fight will take over as the new headliner for the event. It is also expected that Carlos Condit will be on UFC 171, which adds to an exciting fight card that includes another exciting welterweight match up between Hector Lombard and Jake Shields.
