That kid being 37 year old left handed veteran Randy Wolf. Wolf last seen Major League action with the Baltimore Orioles after spending time with the Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros, San Diego Padres before them.
Wolf had to make the adjustment from starting to an arm that came out of the bullpen like some veteran pitchers do. It happens to the best of them, but it’s great for them in the long run. Their careers can last a little longer.
