Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel is one step closer to saying “show me the money” to the NFL. According to reports that surfaced on Thursday night, the Aggies star will be making the decision that everyone has expected and declare for the 2014 NFL Draft.
The report states that Manziel is set to sign with Select Sports Group in Houston, Texas, which would cause him to forfeit his remaining college eligibility.
From Darren Heitner of the Sports Agent Blog:

It does not come as a surprise that Manziel will be entering the draft, especially after his comments yesterday where he said that he feels he is ready for the NFL.
Considering the wild offseason and criticism that Manziel faced after winning the Heisman last year, it is best for Manziel to get out of College Station and towards his attention to playing football and being himself rather than trying to manage how he appears under the microscope in college.
If the report proves to be true, there is a good chance that we will hear Manziel’s name called in the top ten of next year’s draft.
