On Saturday night, we are set to watch the crowning of college football’s most prestigious award. At the end of the ceremony in New York City, the Heisman Trophy will have been handed down to it’s latest winner, as one payer gets to forever join the Heisman fraternity.

This year we have six deserving candidates for the award, but the clear favorite to take home the honor is Florida State Seminoles star quarterback Jameis Winston.

If Winston takes home the award as we all expect, he would become just the second freshman to ever win the Heisman and that would have happened in consecutive years. After putting it all on the line and dominating opponents all season long on his way to the national title game, there is no doubt why Winston is the favorite.

However, you never know when the voters could pull a fast one, so we will have to tune in tonight to see who is the deserving winner when ESPN airs the ceremony at 8 p.m. ET.

With the ceremony just around the corner, let’s take a look at what the Heisman committee told us about each candidate in their press release. After cycling through the candidates, be sure to vote in the comments section below and share your thoughts on who should be the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner.

Let’s begin.
