Heisman Trophy ballots 2013: Jameis WInston has clear edge in known first-place votes

As we await official word on who will be named the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner, it is becoming clearer and clearer that Florida State Seminoles quarterback Jameis Winston will be taking home this year’s prized honor.

The folks over at Stiff Arm Trophy have gathered a number of ballots leading up to today’s announcement, and their results have shown an overwhelming result that favors Winston. In fact, he has received so many votes that it is safe to predict he could come away tonight with one of the largest margins of victory that we have ever seen in the Heisman voting.

Out of the 118 ballots that were received by StiffArmTrophy.com, Winston has a whopping 87 first-place votes. Tre Mason comes in second with seven votes, while last year’s winner Johnny Manziel earned zero.

With the information they have been able to gather, here is a look at the projections of the order the six finalists will finish when the vote is unveiled:
