It sounds like the Los Angeles Dodgers are trying to keep both veterans Michael Young and Juan Uribe on their roster for the 2014 season.
Both guys are entering the final years of their careers, so it could be a chance that this may be the final team for one of these two men.
Third baseman Juan Uribe has been getting some interest from both the Miami Marlins and the Tampa Bay Rays. Tampa Bay was giving Uribe some serious attention before they were able to re-sign first baseman James Loney.
Uribe would have been playing both first base and third if Loney landed elsewhere. Now that isn’t the case, Los Angeles Dodgers general manager Ned Colleti said that he’s remaining hopeful that the team will re-sign Uribe.
Ned Colletti today said he is still hopeful of re-signing free agent 3B Juan Uribe.

Juan has turned into a solid third baseman over the last couple seasons with the Dodgers and happens to be a fan favorite. I’m sure the fans of the Dodgers would be stoked if he returned.
