Despite not being the biggest name on the market or even the best talent, starting pitcher Bronson Arroyo became one of the hottest commodities of the offseason, much of it due to the Cincinnati Reds not placing a qualifying offer on the pitcher.

Countless teams showed interest in the veteran arm, but a high price tag scared many away.

Now with many of those teams filling their rotational needs, that left Arroyo out of a job – though that’s likely to change in the near future as Arroyo is apparently deciding between four teams, including the Reds and Twins:

bronson arroyo sweepstakes is down to reds, twins & 2 others. twins also talking to pelfrey.

There was no mention of the other two teams and speculating who they could be would likely lead no place considering the vast amount of previous interest in Arroyo.

Two teams that did have heavy interest in Arroyo, the San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Dodgers have likely moved on though, considering both teams added rotational help early in free agency.
