There is a lot of talk around Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel heading into the NFL draft this year. Johnny Manziel addressed the issue without clarifying during an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show.
“I don’t know what I would do,” Manziel told Patrick, via College Football Talk. “It would be a decision I would have to make with my family and see what was best for me. It would probably mean returning to A&M another year but I would just see what’s in that position.”
If he were headed into the draft, he’d need an agent and there were reports that he was shopping for one. A sign that he could be headed to the NFL. So there were reports that Manziel was signing with the Houston based Select Sports Group.

Select Sports Group is denying those reports.
From Pro Football Talk:
Reached for confirmation of the report, agent Erik Burkhardt of Select Sports Group denied not only that Manziel plans to sign with the firm but that the firm has talked to Manziel.
Having contact with Manziel would not constitute a violation of NFLPA rules.
“It’s simply false,” Burkhardt told PFT regarding the report. “Nobody in our firm has ever spoken to Johnny. But if you can up to him, tell him I think he’s a hell of a player and should win the Heisman.”
Don’t know what to believe here, there is a lot of back and forth.
