The Washington Redskins offense will be taking on an Atlanta Falcons secondary that will be starting three rookies in the secondary on Sunday, but Washington will not have talented rookie tight end Jordan Reed for the game.

Reed, who was initially listed as questionable, was officially ruled out for Week 15 on Saturday.

From Rich Tandler of CSN Washington:

Reed has been dealing with a concussion and this will be the fourth straight game that he will have missed.

At this point in the season, the Redskins appear to be considering shutting Reed down for the year and ensuring that he is 100 percent heading in to next season — where he will likely be a focal point of the offensive gameplan.

With Reed out again, the Redskins and starting quarterback Kirk Cousins will be relying on Logan Paulsen to help move the chains. Fred Davis will also see limited reps.
